Apart from being the second- largest container port in the UK, Southampton Port is the most bustling cruise terminal in the United Kingdom. Along with four terminals, this port is one of the most important ports in Britain.

The Port of Southampton is a few miles aloof from Southampton Airport. With convenient motorway access from the M27 off the M25, a travel becomes hassle-free. One can even opt for a comfortable train-journey from London Waterloo as well. A short taxi-ride to any of the terminals can be less-hectic too. A chain of all-world-famous cruise ships are based here. Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth, Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess, Queen Victoria & Queen Mary etc. are to name a few.

Dover Port:

Dover port is the cross-channel port which is located in Dover, Kent, South-East England. With near-about 16million travellers, 2.8 million cars & motorcycles, 2.1 million Lorries and so on; it has become one of the busiest passenger ports in the whole world.

It takes about one hour or so to get down at Dover Priory Station on a comfortable train journey from London Victoria Station or Charing Cross Railway Station. A taxi-ride takes just a few minutes to reach the terminal. The Port of Dover has turned out to be the permanent home port for both the ship cruises named Saga Pearl II and Sage Sapphire. Fred Olsen Cruise Line attends regular departures from Dover Port. Eminent cruise ship lines including Princess Cruises Ship, Crystal Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and Windstar Cruises etc. rely on this port for occasional departures.

Port of Tilbury:

Situated at only seven miles from the M25 in Essex (Junction-30), the Port of Tilbury offers great convenience for people from the East of London. Car parking is available here. This terminal is only a couple-of-minutes taxi-drive and near about 20-mintues-walk-away from the Lime Street Railway Station. Drivers can park their vehicles inside the secured port facility at Pier Head. The Port of Liverpool brags of departing many high-end cruise ships that include Fred Olsen Cruise Line and Cruise Maritime Voyages etc. for more than once.
